The Open Building Brainstorm session aimed to share knowledge, question design decisions and determine four core demands for future improvement.

1.       Excess and freedom in the masterplan.

2.      Flexible ownership and new business models, like long-term depreciation.

3.      Open Systems and autonomous public utilities, like mobility as a service.

4.       Architecture with a long lifespan by love, passion and character.

The Founding Partners shared knowledge and asked questions like; How would it had influenced your building if there were no demands or limitations by the state or municipality? How can future addition to buildings be integrated into the current design and what does this demand in the masterplan and tender requirements? Is the influence of flexible building on the sustainability qualification, in tenders, and certificates in line with the true influence of flexibility on sustainability?
